Dr. Moore’s clinical style is warm, supportive, and integrates cognitive, behavioral approaches along with mindful-based training. Dr. Moore has an eclectic list of clients. She has worked with individuals from New Zealand, Africa, South America, Middle East, and Asia. Her client base includes working individuals to professionals.
Dr. Moore has published the following books: “The Mindfulness Response: Inner Happiness Every Day” and “Who Helps the Helper: Proven Stress Management Techniques for Law Enforcement Officers.” Additionally, she was featured on various media outlets addressing stress management, mindfulness, and well-being. She is also an adjunct faculty instructor. A retired lieutenant from the New York City Police Department, currently, she practices in New York City.

Dr. Deborah C. Moore received her Doctorate in Human Development, Master’s Degree in Counselor Education, and Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She holds has a certificate in neuropsychology. Dr. Moore is a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, author, and educator.
For 20 years, Dr. Moore has studied how psychological and biological factors influence human behavior. Dr. Moore's therapeutic services distinguishes itself from other forms of therapy in that she incorporates the brain-behavior relationship to understand human development and change.
